Lord, "Increase our faith." The Lord replied, "If you have faith

Welcome
Sunday is a chance to meet new parish family members and re-acquaint ourselves
with our long-time parish friends. “Welcome” also takes on a special
meaning this year as we welcome our two new priests, Fr. Michael Foley and Fr.
Jesus Martinez and our new parish secretary, Maria Gasser. We invite all
to join a special Coffee Hour after the 9AM Mass but hope that those who may
have missed prior Welcome Sundays or who have not met our new staff will
join us on this special day. Hope to see you there!
Gather Us In - 2007
November 3 at the
You are invited to participate in this day-long event featuring
presentations and workshops on women's maturing spirituality. Sr. Joyce Rupp, a member of the Order of the Servants of
Mary, will offer the first keynote of the day. Her topic is Seeing
With the Inner Eye-Celebrating Religious and Spiritual Diversity. In
her talk Sr. Joyce will encourage us to see with the eye of faith which gives
us the guidance and the courage to approach and enter into beliefs, attitudes
and situations that would otherwise keep us apart. Among the many books Sr.
Joyce Rupp has authored are “Praying Our
Goodbyes”,“May I Have This Dance?” and “Fresh Bread”. Brochures are
available in the vestibule of the church or call Carolyn Black (508.836.4686)
for more information.

This year we’ve introduced two new ministries. The Communications Task Force: this group will review and evaluate all the tools and procedures we use to interface with our parish family. The Liturgical Settings Committee: will be asked to design and set up the liturgical settings in church throughout the year, especially around the major feasts and holy days. To find out more about either of these ministries or about any of the ministries at St. Luke’s, please call Maria (508-366-5502) for information or to sign up.
