Do you desire to find purpose and meaning in your adult spiritual life? Whether one is taking new steps from adolescence into adulthood, building family or vocational milestones in the daily walk of midlife, or reflecting upon life experiences within the later years, what remains constant in our Catholic faith Tradition is the loving and merciful invitation from God to follow Jesus Christ.
Adult studies at St. Luke’s aims to provide learning, reflection, and sharing opportunities in both large and small group gatherings to help adults grow in relationship with Christ. Such opportunities range from Bible Studies that enrich your understanding of Sacred Scripture, to Catholic teachings that help us better appreciate essential and mystical components of our rich Catholic Tradition, to casual small group gatherings that allow participants to gain practical life application from the mass readings, classic and modern Christian literature, and all sorts of spiritual topics related to growing in Christ.
Meeting together in this way not only builds our knowledge of God but strengthens our faith, brings transformation to our spiritual lives, imparts a sense of community among participants, and ultimately enables us to be close to God and an encouragement to those around us.
Please consider joining no matter what adult stage of life you are at. While the amount of offerings vary throughout the year, new ideas for adult studies at St. Luke’s are ever growing.

Reflecting upon Jesus' teachings from the Sunday Mass Gospel reading
with Contemplation, Conversation, and Coffee
All are welcome to grab a donut and coffee and attend a 50 minute gathering time after 9:00 AM mass or before 11:00 AM mass to debrief and gain insight on the Sunday mass Gospel reading. In this time, our goal will be to extract one standout WORD or PHRASE from either the mass homily, the short 5 minute reflection given at the beginning of our time, or from the Gospel itself to practically apply to our life circumstances in the week ahead.
Let this time empower you to gradually integrate the way of Jesus into your personal life. It may be as simple taking that word or phrase and activating it within the choices you make such as responding with a courageous yes or no within a difficult situation, listening better, speaking up, letting go of worry, hurt, pain, shame, fear....you name it, these are real matters that we all grapple with in our human condition.
Our time aims to be punctual (50 minutes), purposeful, practical, spiritual, and relational as we will have time to discuss the meaning of the Gospel message. How refreshing it will be exchange the realities of life with others on the journey of faith!
While you are welcome to drop by any of the Sundays listed below , it would be helpful to know who is interested by registering (no matter how many sessions you plan to attend - one, some, or all).

You long for tender moments with your children--but do you ever find yourself too busy to stop, make eye contact, and say something you really mean? Each week we will read and discuss a chapter of the book together. Each chapter ends with practical patterns, prayers, or liturgies that your family can put into practice right away.
