St. Luke’s offers two bereavement support groups:
There is an evening group that meets for six weeks – once in the Fall and once in the Spring. Topics include: permission to mourn, surviving anniversaries/holidays, taking care of ourselves, spiritual questions and moving forward with hope. In addition to this group we also have a bereavement ministry team of people willing to meet one-on-one with those grieving a particular loss.
A monthly bereavement support group designed for adults grieving the loss of a parent meets in the morning on the second Wednesday of the month.
Sessions are open to those within the parish or in the surrounding communities.
Please contact Julie Basque, pastoral associate at 508-366-8509 ext. 4 for more information or to register.
